This section is provided for health professionals (GPs, dentists, pharmacists etc).

Members of the general public are welcome to use these pages but should be aware that they are not written with them in mind. Please choose an option on the left for information aimed at the general public.

Brighton Health Promotion Library provides a full library service on health promotion and improvement related topics.

Our main users include a wide variety of health professionals, teachers, school / undergraduate / postgraduate students, community / voluntary sector workers, researchers and social workers.

We offer a high quality information service and will carry out Internet searches on accredited evidence-based websites. We stock books, videos, training manuals, physiological and anatomical models, teaching packs, leaflets, CD ROMs, strategies and statistics.

Our library covers a wide range of health issues including

Individual requests for foreign language information should be directed to the librarian.
