NHS Brighton and Hove spends over £480 million each year on health and wellbeing for the people of Brighton and Hove.
Michael Schofield, director of finance said:
“Our funding is public money and we are conscious that we need to spend wisely on behalf of our patients, health professionals and the public. We are now publishing all of our expenditure over £25,000 so that it is easier to see what we buy for the city.”

The way that the information is published is designed to make it easier to compare our spend with other primary care trusts (PCTs). Each PCT uses the same format with the same categories, which come from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
