Comments invited on GPs’ application to reduce practice area

THE public is invited to comment on an application by Dr Luis Rodriguez-Pineda and Partner to reduce the area covered by their Brighton practice.

The practice – Whitehawk Surgery, in Whitehawk Way, Brighton - has proposed an area bordered by Whitehawk Hill Road to the west, north to Warren Road, Sheepcote Valley and Roedean to the east, and an area of the seafront including Kemp Town and the Marina.

An assurance has been given that any patients currently registered with the practice will not be de-registered if the application is approved. However, any patient moving from the proposed area to within or outside the boundaries of the original area may be asked to register with another doctor.

Any comments on the application should be made in writing to Viv McIntosh, Practitioner Contracts Officer, East Sussex, Brighton and Hove Primary Care Support Services, 36-38 Friars Walk, Lewes, East Sussex BN7 2PB before 6 September. Any correspondence will be fully considered before a decision is made.
