About NHS Brighton and Hove

NHS Brighton and Hove is the primary care trust (PCT) for the city of Brighton and Hove.

We are part of NHS Sussex, which has taken on responsibility for delivering our functions during this period of transition.

Through our emerging clinical commissioning group and NHS Sussex, our work continues. Although much of our work still concerns primary care practitioners (GPs, pharmacists, optometrists and dentists) we do a lot of other things too, as we explain below.

Put simply, we aim to help people live healthily and stay well, and make sure that high quality care is provided for them when they become unwell.
